C boys go 1-1 for week

    Holyoke boys C team played two games last week — a full game hosting Lone Star Thursday, Jan. 26, for a 46-44 win and two quarters in Merino Friday, Jan. 27, for a 16-22 loss.
    Playing Lone Star Jan. 26, Holyoke was ahead at halftime 22-17, fell behind 28-31 in the third quarter and came back for the 46-44 win.
    Mason King led in scoring with 15, followed by Slaten Burris nine, Caleb Deaver seven, Jarrett Woodhead four, Cole LeBlanc three and Mauro Morales, Colby Purkeypile, Tyler Lamm and Matt Yost two each.

    Against Merino Friday, the Dragons were down just 10-11 at halftime before the 16-22 loss.
    Deaver had the most points with 10, followed by Woodhead four and Lamm two.
