Dodgeball tourney to benefit Espinoza

It’s that time again. The time when the shoes come off; the costumes come on; and students, parents, teachers and community members fight for the right to hold the coveted dodgeball championship trophy. More importantly, it’s the time when the community comes together to support someone in need.

After a year off because of COVID-19 protocols, the Holyoke JR/SR High School National Honor Society dodgeball tournament is returning for its 13th installment. The tourney is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 15, at 5 p.m. at the school, and proceeds will benefit Holyoke junior Jeffrey Espinoza, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
