Dragons fall to Caliche, Merino

Holyoke Dragon baseball lost to Caliche 12-9 on Tuesday, May 18, and to Merino 10-0 on Saturday, May 22.

Coach Sherman Kage said the game with Caliche really showed the kids’ hard work, ability and how far they’ve come as a team. He pointed out that they had patience and discipline at the plate, allowing them to get on base with both hits and walks.

He said they will be working on continued patience offensively and anticipating what to do with the ball in a given situation defensively.
