Holyoke 0, SedgCo 16
In Monday’s first game, Holyoke baseball faced yet another pitcher that the batters just couldn’t seem to get a handle on. While Holyoke remained scoreless throughout the game, Sedgwick County racked up 16 runs. In the first inning alone, the Cougars scored nine.
In the second inning, they scored three, and in the third inning they scored four. Though the Dragon defense kept them from scoring any more in the fourth or fifth innings, the damage had already been done. The game ended 16-0 after just five innings due to the mercy rule.
