Dragons go pink, raise $1,675 for mammography program

While pink and red were seen throughout the Dragon gym Thursday, Feb. 14, it wasn’t for Valentine’s Day. The Holyoke/Yuma basketball games were a chance to bring awareness to breast cancer and raise funds for the Melissa Memorial Hospital Pink-Out Mammography Program.
Approximately $1,675 will help those in need of assistance to pay for mammograms and the readings.
MMH is proud to offer assistance to those needing help with mammograms as early detection of cancer is crucial to saving lives. This service is offered five days a week at MMH. For more information, contact Sharon Bernard or Eva Penzing at MMH at 970-854-2241.
