Dragons wrestle well following holiday break

In their first match following the holiday break, Dragon wrestlers performed well at the Garden County Invite in Oshkosh, Nebraska, Saturday, Jan. 11.
Originally scheduled to wrestle in a tournament in Brush last Saturday, the school scrambled to find another tourney when the Brush event was canceled earlier in the week due to low numbers of team participation.
“It was a last minute fit for us, and we did very well coming off break,” said coach Dusty McConnell.
Luis Chafino was the only placewinner for the varsity Dragons, winning runner-up honors at 170 lbs.
