Eagles give Dragons first loss of season

HHS football suffered its first loss of the season 27-7 at Wray Saturday, Oct. 31.

The Dragons had some difficulty getting their offense going, and some turnovers and penalties ultimately stalled drives.

Coach Dusty Sprague said he was really proud of the attitude and effort of the players. He noted that they played very physically and did a great job.

He also pointed out that the team that makes the fewest mistakes will win a football game, acknowledging that their goal is to clean up some of the turnovers and penalties in future games.

Things started off well for the Dragons on Wray’s first series. The Eagles completed a pass, but the receiver fumbled. The Dragons recovered, setting up on the Eagle 38 yard line.
