Girls golf kicks off Friday in Fort Morgan
Golf practice is well underway, and the team will see its first competition of the 2017 season Friday, March 24, 9 a.m. at a Fort Morgan tournament.
Head coach Marcia Dalton and assistant coach Nick Flaa return for a third year of coaching, along with returning letterwinners juniors Grace Dille, Regan Van Overbeke and Dominique Penzing, as well as sophomore Brenna Sullivan.
Rounding out the 12-person team are seniors Logan Osborne, Juana Penzing and Daniela Baeza; junior Anna Jelden; sophomores Emily Chaney and Savannah Burris; and freshman Tayler Hale. Senior Karla Hermosillo is the team’s manager.
The team will see a change in competition this year, competing at the 3A level.
