Girls place second at Yuma

    Holyoke High School track and field team competed LPAA meet at Yuma Tuesday, May 1.
    The girls’ 123.7 points put them in second place behind Wray’s 147.7. Holyoke boys earned 69 points and fifth place, with Sedgwick County taking the top spot with 154.
    Two Dragons went home with top finishes: Aaron Sierra in the 110 meter hurdles and Taeryn Trumper in the 100 meter, 200 meter and long jump.
    Coach Corey Koberstein said the weather was chilly, but he was pleased that for once it was not windy.
