Golf wins final league tourney of the season

    HHS girls golf won its fourth tournament, and Grace Dille took home her third individual victory of the season at the Thursday, May 11, tournament in Wray.
    The team had four firsts and two second-place finishes, as it prepared for Monday’s regional competition. In addition to her three first-place tournaments, Dille has finished in the top five in the other three league tournaments this season. In the first half of Thursday’s tournament, Dille shot her personal best nine-hole score of 42. She went on to shoot 56 on the last nine holes, putting her at 98.
    Holyoke’s Brenna Sullivan and Regan Van Overbeke tied for sixth place with 111, a personal best for Van Overbeke. Dominique Penzing placed 11th, shooting 115 for the third tournament in a row.
