Great crowd ushers in Friday Night Lights at PC Raceway

Early-season Sunday afternoon racing gave way to Friday Night Lights at Phillips County Raceway on Friday, June 4.

Exceptional weather and an exceptional track led to a crowd three times as big as any PCR has seen thus far this season, according to organizer Joe Bellm.

Around the country, car counts are low this year. Bellm pointed out that car parts availability is hurting the industry. They’re just trying to weather this storm.

POWRI sprints joined the lineup Friday night for a great crowd pleaser.

Next up at PCR at the Phillips County Fairgrounds in Holyoke is the Father’s Day weekend race touted as the mid-season championships Friday, June 18, with action beginning at 7 p.m.

ASCS nonwing elite sprints will join the car lineup with modifieds, stock cars, sport mods, hobby stocks, compacts, dwarfs, mini mods, modlites and UTVs.
