Gymnasts ‘Shine On’ with confidence in Saturday show

Demonstrations on bars, beam, vault and floor exercises were accompanied by big smiles as KS Gymnastics featured five groups of gymnasts in “Shine On” at the HHS auditorium Saturday, Aug. 5.
Kendra Timm started her gymnastics program at the Peerless Center this year, and acknowledged great appreciation for her assistant, Megan Humphreys, who recently graduated from HHS and will be missed as she goes off to college.
Gymnasts were decked out in colorful and/or sparkly attire as they demonstrated their abilities in every area of gymnastics for the nice-sized crowd Saturday. They were confident and accomplished in their performances.
Age 3 and under in the mom and tot group took the stage first and performed to “Uptown Funk.”
Group members were Ava Vasa, Brodyn Daniel, Annorah Lueth, Callie Tharp, Gracie Rene and Raylee Young.
