HHS flies like the wind in Yuma

Fighting a cold wind, HHS track competed at the Bill Kalb Invitational in Yuma Monday, April 10.
“The wind made it a challenging day on the track,” said coach Dusty Sprague. “It was good to see our kids learn to fight through that adversity and still compete.”
Sprague said there were still many notable performances, particularly the girls 4x400 meter relay at the end of the day. Taeryn Trumper, Brook Prottsman, Kaylee Camblin and Emily Jelden improved their time by five seconds to place third.
Other top performances included Trumper’s first-place finish in the 100 meter dash for girls individual events.
