HHS golf takes 2nd at opening tourney
Though weather has kept the Holyoke High School girls golf team from seeing much practice time on the course, golfers have made the most of it and saw their first tournament of the season Monday, March 25, in Brush. Also playing varsity for the Dragons on Monday were Traeli Hutches, who shot a 109, Ciera Schelling 124 and Amy Mackay 132. “Hutches kept it steady and played a solid round,” coach Nick Flaa said. He also noted that it was the first 18-hole round played by both Schelling and Mackay, and they competed through the very end.
