HHS hosts a 10 a.m. ‘Twilight’ meet

A small track meet previously scheduled for the evening of May 11, the Phillips County “Twilight” meet was instead held Saturday, May 6, at 10 a.m. at HHS — but was still referred to as the “Twilight” meet.
Coach Dusty Sprague said the idea was to get in one more chance for athletes to improve their times to qualify for state, although the wind made that a challenging goal. “It was still good to simulate running two days in a row for those going on to state,” said Sprague.
At the four-team meet Saturday, Holyoke girls won overall with 241 points, and boys placed second with 135.5.
