HHS sends 4 to invitational

Holyoke High School swimmers participated in two events at the Rex Abelein Memorial Invitational at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton last Saturday, Dec. 15 — the only meet besides state championships that requires sub-qualifying times to enter.
“We told our girls that they would be competing against the very best from every division,” coach Aly Brinkema said. “Besides racing with confidence in such a competitively tense atmosphere, the most important takeaway for our team at this meet was to observe, and to gather information, inspiration and ideas to bring home for the second half of our training season.”
