HHS spring sports underway

    Holyoke High School’s spring sports have begun, with track and field, girls golf and baseball. Additionally, two HHS swimmers are competing on the Valley High School boys team.
    While all the teams have started practicing, boys swimming has already seen competition. They kicked off the season March 8 in Estes Park, followed by a March 10 meet in Gilcrest. They are scheduled to swim in Gilcrest again Thursday, March 15, at 5 p.m.
    HHS baseball opens at home Monday, March 19, at 3:30 p.m., with a doubleheader against Wray.
    The girls golf team will travel to Fort Morgan on Friday, March 23, for its first tournament of the season, starting at 9 a.m.
    Track and field opens Saturday, March 24, in Yuma at 10 a.m.
