HHS sweeps tri

    Hosting on their home court last Saturday, the Dragons left with the sweet satisfaction of going 6-0 in the triangular. Volleyball teams from Idalia and Prairie high schools traveled to Holyoke for the Sept. 15 competition.
    The day was characterized by overwhelming victories, with all three matches resulting in 3-0 wins. Idalia beat Prairie, and Holyoke beat both.

    Facing the Wolves, Holyoke came out on top 3-0 (25-13, 27-25, 25-18). Based on a substantial win in the first set, the Dragons may have expected easy victories from there on out, but Idalia did put up a fight.
    In the second set, the teams found themselves playing past 25 before Holyoke emerged as the victor once again, 27-25. Going into the third set ready to finish the job, HHS made quick work of Idalia, winning 25-18 and claiming the match.
