HHS volleyball players honored

    Holyoke High School volleyball honored the season’s accomplishments at a Nov. 27 awards ceremony. The Dragons went 16-9 this year, finishing at regionals.
    Coach Hannah Petersen awarded letters to seniors Brenna Sullivan, Kaylee Camblin, Kyra Loutensock and Emma Roll; juniors Taeryn Trumper, Josie Herman and Emily Jelden; sophomores Taylor Trumper and Ashley Rahe; and freshman Kristin Vieselmeyer.
    As a varsity team, the Dragons earned the Les Schwab Tire Centers Academic Team Championship Award. The cumulative GPA of each of the varsity team members who participated in at least 75 percent of the season are averaged together, and HHS volleyball earned the award for having at least a 3.5 GPA.
