HJHS boys win 1 of 4 in opener

     Junior high boys basketball opened the season Thursday, Oct. 27, at Yuma. Dragon A team brought home a win while B, C and D teams lost their games.
     Holyoke A team defeated Yuma 41-26. Kaison Kinnie led with 16 points, followed by Miles Sprague 11, Ethan Johnson seven, Levi Dille three and Cade Killin and Isaiah Rahe two a piece. Kinnie and Johnson each had two three-pointers while Sprague had one.

     HJHS B team fell 44-23. Jaime Avila scored six points, followed by Carlos Legarreta five, Rahe four, David Speicher three, Mason Vernon and Stephen Murray two each and Tuff Sigler one.
