Holyoke cheer clinic goes big for the home team
Feb. 2 was the time for Holyoke fans, of all ages, to show their school spirit. As the high school basketball teams played Wiggins, the gym filled with spectators decked out for the Green Out. At halftime of the boys varsity game, the energy was kept high with the cheer clinic performance.
Little Dragon fans from 3 years old through sixth-grade had the chance to practice a couple times with the Holyoke High School cheerleaders last month, learning cheers and a dance routine. Last Saturday’s game was their chance to show off what they’d learned and get the crowd fired up.
