Holyoke Junior High boys basketball opens Oct. 25

    Moving on from fall athletics, Holyoke Junior High boys basketball players will see their first game Thursday, Oct. 25, at 4 p.m. in Holyoke against Yuma.
    This year’s team is coached by Jim Yakel and assistant coach Aaron Sprague. Eighth graders on the team are Angel Carrasco, Cooper Goldenstein, Manual Gonzalez, Kevin Hermosillo, Stephen Murray, Brendan Nelson and Ty Sandquist Dirks.
    Seventh graders are Bryson Dirks, Oscar Granados, Omar Hernandez, Jerren Hunter, Chase Johnson, Ramon Mora Lerma, Tyson Mosenteen, Wyatt Sprague and Cash Weber.
