Holyoke wins Little League tourney

This last weekend, June 28-July 1, Border League teams traveled to Ovid for Peewee, Little League and Babe Ruth tournaments. Originally scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, the tournaments were extended to Sunday due to weather.
Holyoke’s Little League team won in its bracket, beating Sedgwick County in the championship game after beating Chappell, Nebraska, on Thursday.
