HSC takes 2nd in Goodland

    In the second Northwest Kansas Swim League meet of the season, Holyoke Swim Club finished second and boasted two new records. Swimming in their home pool, Goodland took first with 352.5 points, followed by Holyoke 346.5, Burlington 209, Colby 116, Wray 99, Oakley 72, Oberlin 49 and Flagler 2.
    Holyoke’s Rylee Schneller set a new record in the 15-18-year-old girls 100-yard breaststroke, with a time of 1:14.88. Tayla Martin set a new record in the 11-12 girls 100-yard individual medley, with a time of 1:12.99.
    Next, the team will compete June 16 in Oberlin, Kansas.
