Hutches, Sullivan headed to state golf

In a season that’s seen its share of ups and downs already, Holyoke High School girls golf crested an impressive peak at the regional tournament May 6. Golfing at Highland Hills in Greeley, HHS finished the day with two state qualifiers and a fifth-place team finish.
Senior Brenna Sullivan and junior Traeli Hutches each earned a berth for the Colorado 3A state tournament May 20-21 at Eagle Ranch Golf Club in Eagle. Sullivan placed 10th, carding 102, and Hutches finished 13th with 105. Also golfing for HHS were Ciera Schelling 120, and Emily Chaney 125.
