JH boys basketball opens at Yuma next week
Holyoke Junior High will open its boys basketball season Thursday, Oct. 26, in Yuma at 4 p.m.
Twenty-nine players comprise the 2017 team. Scott Dille leads the coaching team, assisted by Keith Pocock.
Nineteen eighth-graders are playing this year, including Carlos Legarreta, Michel Perez, Miles Sprague, Mason Vernon, Ethan Johnson, David Speicher, Gage Sprague, Tuff Sigler, Levi Dille, Johnny Quintana, Kaison Kinnie, Cade Killin, Marco Mendoza Ivan Ponce-Cortez, Jaime Avila, Kenneth Lindholm, Levi Ford, Angel Martinez and Juan Diaz.
The 10 seventh-graders on the team are Ty Sandquist, Isaiah Rahe, Stephen Murray, Cooper Goldenstein, Kevin Hermosillo, Angel Carrasco Ortiz, Adrian Moreno, Brendan Nelson, Adrian Bejarano and Manual Gonzalez. Team manager is Emmanuel Vasquez.
