JH track takes on Nebraska meet

Holyoke junior high track competed Thursday, April 27, at the Chase County Invite in Imperial, Nebraska.

Results were split by both grade and gender. Of the 11 competing teams, the seventh-grade girls team placed seventh with 33 points, eighth-grade girls third with 69, seventh-grade boys second with 77 and eighth-grade boys second with 92.

7th-grade girls results
800 meter run — Kristin Vieselmeyer, seventh, 3:06.33.
1600 meter run — Kyleigh Jaeger, seventh, 6:54.45.
Shot put — Lauren Herman, third, 25’2.5”.
Discus — Herman, second, 76’1”; Rachel Krueger, fourth, 64’10”.
Long jump — Vieselmeyer, first, 13’2.75”.

8th-grade girls results
