JH volleyball begins

   The Holyoke Junior High volleyball team has just begun practicing, but already the 18 players are preparing to face area teams at their first competition, the Haxtun Gymboree scrimmage Thursday, Aug. 24.
    Head coach Michelle Vieselmeyer is again assisted by Hillary Heier.
    Eighth-grade students on this year’s team are Sara Maupin, Kristin Vieselmeyer, Rachel Krueger, Lauren Herman, Havyn Powell, Kyleigh Jaeger, Miranda Schroetlin, Ana Chaney and Emma Oakley.
    Seventh-grade participants are Erin Andersen, Summer Martin, Grace Roberts, Sabryn Burris, Clover Adler, Tamara Penzing, Aspin Kinnie, Alexie Metzger and Elise Krogmeier.
