JH wrestlers host twice

    HJHS wrestlers competed on the home mat twice last week, hosting Akron in a dual Thursday, Jan. 26, and competing with seven other teams in the Holyoke bash Saturday, Jan. 28.
    Tayden Chappell, Kevin Hermosillo and David Speicher all won their matches with Akron, while Dylan Hielscher was 1-1 and J.C. Steggs 0-2.
    In exhibition matches with the Rams, Keegan Colglazier got a victory and Tavery Chappell was defeated.
    In Saturday action, Speicher and Tayden Chappell were both 1-1 for the day, Hielscher was 0-2 and Hermosillo and Steggs were both 0-3.
    Next up for HJHS is the Merino bash Monday, Feb. 6, starting at 2 p.m. The Feb. 2 JH dual with Wray was canceled.
