Junior high tracksters have good day in Akron

Due to the weekend blizzard predicted in northeast Colorado, Holyoke junior high track team switched up its schedule and competed at the Akron Invite Thursday, April 12.
    
Girls results
    100 meter dash — Elise Krogmeier, fifth, :14.56.
    200 meter dash — Tamara Penzing, eighth, :33.10.
    800 meter run — Summer Martin, sixth, 3:12.26.
    1600 meter run — Martin, fourth, 7:02.63.
    4x100 meter relay — Kristin Vieselmeyer, Lauren Herman, Emma Thompson and Jimena Nuñez, fifth, 1:04.50.
    4x200 meter relay — Clover Adler, Grace Roberts, Sabryn Burris and Martin, fifth, 2:20.30.
    Long jump — Roberts, fifth, 12’9”.
