JV girls close season with 1 win, 1 loss

    Holyoke junior varsity girls finished their season last week with a win over Yuma at home Tuesday, Feb. 14, and a loss at Wray Friday, Feb. 17.

    It was the second half that really made a difference for the Lady Dragons in their Tuesday game with Yuma. The two teams were tied 16-16 at halftime. In the second half, Dragon defense kept the Indians to five points apiece in the third and fourth quarters, while Holyoke pumped up their score by eight in the third and 15 in the fourth. Holyoke finished with a 39-26 win.
