JV girls fall to Merino

    On the road in Merino Friday, Jan. 27, Holyoke JV basketball girls narrowly missed out on a win, falling to the Rams 18-20.
    In the two-quarter game, Holyoke trailed Merino 9-12 after the first period. They outscored Merino by one in the second, but the Rams took the two-point win.
    On the scoreboard for the Dragons were Savannah Burris and Victoria Race with five points apiece, Shianne Willmon four, Janessa Lutze three and Josie Herman one.
