JV girls win 2 games, lose 1

    With three games on the schedule last week, Holyoke junior varsity girls basketball team finished with two wins and one loss.
    
Holyoke JV 40, Wray 41
    At the away game last Tuesday, Jan. 9, Holyoke lost a tight game to Wray 40-41 in overtime.
    HHS led 9-6 after the first quarter, but Wray outscored them 14-6 in the second to pull ahead for the five-point lead at halftime.
    Holyoke’s 15 points in the third put them up 30-26. Wray evened out the score in the fourth to tie the game 37-37 at the buzzer. In overtime, Wray finished with the one-point win.
    On the scoreboard for the Dragons were Taylor Trumper with 14, Emali Torres 12, Shianne Willmon and Josie Herman six apiece and Ashley Rahe two.
