Kirzi Flaa wins Drive, Chip and Putt qualifier in Fort Collins

Holyoke’s Kirzi Flaa won the girls 7-9-year-old Drive, Chip and Putt local qualifier at Collindale Golf Course at Fort Collins on June 13.
Kirzi, the 7-year-old daughter of Kia and Holyoke girls golf coach Nick Flaa, finished first in drive and chip.
Each golfer is given three attempts at each discipline and receives points based on distance from the hole or length of drive.
With her fourth place finish in putting, Kirzi had enough points for a two-point win. Ten girls entered the division. Divisions for boys and girls were 7-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15 years old.
