Lady Dragon golfers eyeing postseason

With the completion of last week’s Washington County Invite, the end of the regular season is approaching quickly for the Holyoke Dragons girls golf team.

The Dragons will defend their home turf at their final invite of the year Thursday, May 5.

Monday, May 9, the team will head to Sterling for the league tournament at Sterling’s Sky Ranch Golf Course.

Holyoke head coach Nick Flaa expects there to be a tight race for the individual and team championships.

Holyoke currently leads the team standings, but Washington County is nipping at the Dragons’ heels.

“It’s going to come down to the final shot,” Flaa said, adding that players are improving across the league.
