Mosenteen places 4th
Dragon wrestlers opened the season at the St. Francis, Kansas, Gabel/Jenkins Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 4. A total of four Holyoke wrestlers competed, and Tyson Mosenteen won three matches and lost two to earn fourth place in the 152-lb. bracket.
Mosenteen pinned Angel Vela of Burlington and Kenneth Micek of Atwood-Rawlins County, Kansas. Both of his losses came against Koy Smith of Wray, who ultimately won third place.
Ben Kleve earned a win in the 160-lb. bracket, pinning Braxton Hawkins of Leoti-Wichita County, Kansas. Kleve lost to eventual runner-up Mason Hernandez of Goodland, Kansas, and Reid Brown of Wray, who took third.
