PeeWee wrestlers hit the mats Sat., March 4

Holyoke Wrestling Club will host its annual PeeWee tournament Saturday, March 4, starting promptly at 9 a.m. at HHS.

Organizers are hoping for close to 300 wrestlers from Colorado, Nebraska and Kansas. The Holyoke team includes 42 youth, counting the junior high-age kids.

Holyoke Wrestling Club volunteers will be providing full breakfast and lunch meals for wrestlers and fans at this weekend’s tournament.

Also coming up in the wrestlers’ schedules are tournaments in Wray Friday, March 3; Ovid Saturday, March 11; Akron Saturday, March 18; and the Northeast Colorado Classic in Sterling Saturday, March 25.
