Personal bests achieved at Highland

“All the kids ran really well,” said coach Dusty Sprague of meet. “To have so many great performances and personal bests at the last regular meet of the season was really great.”

Taeryn Trumper had PBs in the 200 meter dash, placing second, and long jump, placing first. Additionally, she also finished second in the 100 meter dash.

Taylor Hendrix placed second in the 100 meter hurdles, with a PB time of :17.97, narrowly missing the top 18 headed for state in the event by :00.12 seconds.

The 4x200 meter relay team, consisting of Emily Jelden, Brook Prottsman, Jacky Mosqueda and Trumper, cut over 2 seconds from its previous PB as well to place third with a 1:52.29 time.
