Phillips County Raceway breaks the frost for season opener April 16

Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke and BST Promotions are getting down and dirty for the 2022 race season, beginning with the Spring Fling on Saturday, April 16.

This is the only time local race fans will be able to see Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association competitors at PCR this year.

The 5 p.m. event at Phillips County Fairgrounds will also feature the big six International Motor Contest Association divisions, which will dominate the season, including the outlaw classics (formerly dwarfs), modifieds, stock cars, sport mods, hobby stocks and sport compacts.

Up next on the schedule is the Memorial Day weekend event Sunday, May 29, at 5 p.m., which will be the first race of the season for the Colorado Alliance Tour as seven divisions battle for a winner-takes-all tour of Colorado’s best dirt tracks.
