Pole vault camp set in Yuma

The Yuma Vault Academy is hosting a pole vault camp in two sessions this summer.

The first camp is Tuesday-Wednesday, June 14-15, and the second camp is Tuesday-Wednesday, June 28-29, both at the Yuma High School track.

Beginners in grades 4-6 will meet from 8-9 a.m. The intermediate group is for grade 6 and up (athletes who will compete next year), and they will meet from 9-10:30 a.m. The advanced session, 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., is for grade 7 and up, and participants must either be high school age or have minimum vaults of 7 feet for girls and 8.5 feet for boys.
