Quicker than panicked poultry, locals race in Thanksgiving 5K

    Phillips County Family Education Services held its third annual Turkey Trot 5K and family fun 1-mile walk/run fundraiser Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, at Homesteaders Park.
    It was as beautiful a November day as anyone could hope for, and both walkers and runners got in some physical activity before their holiday feasts.
    Finishing the 5K first was Marshall Davis, followed by second-place Brianne Ham and third-place Chase Goddard.
