Raceway opens season
It’s racing season, and the Phillips County Raceway accelerated into action Saturday night, April 16, for its season opener.
BST Promotions, along with sponsor Nutrien Ag Solutions, provided challenging races for drivers along the fastest 3/8-mile dirt track in Colorado. Fans were treated to affordable family entertainment for both local residents and visitors.
The 2022 season opener produced the following results:
— IMCA modifieds, A feature 1: 1-B. Clough, 2-D. Geist, 3-B. Smith, 4-A. Steffens, 5-J. Bussell, 6-M. Quint, 7-R. Wallace, 8-T. Quint.
— IMCA stock cars, A feature 1: 1-L. Meeske, 2-K. Clough, 3-B. Aeby, 4-D. Miller, 5-B. Herrick, 6-P. Robb, 7-A. Miller, 8-L. Bellm.
