Relay earns qualifying time, others place at Windsor

Holyoke High School girls swim team competed at the Windsor Holiday Spectacular last Saturday, Dec. 22, earning points in multiple events and a spot in the 400-yard freestyle relay at the Colorado state 3A championships.
“We had a wonderful ending to 2018 and the first half of the season,” coach Aly Brinkema said. “The team has been training hard and will continue to race unrested until conference championships in early February.”
Traeli Hutches, Lali Marquez, Haley Van Overbeke and Rylee Schneller competed in the 400-yard free relay, placing fourth and securing a qualifying time of 4:11.04.
