Softball places 4th in tourney

    Holyoke 9-12 softball finished up the 2017 season June 26-27 by placing fourth in the league tournament in Chappell, Nebraska.
    Going into the tourney seeded fourth, the team defeated the No. 5-ranked Ogallala (Nebraska) 2 team 5-4 in the first round, then lost to No. 1-ranked Ogallala 1 0-10 in the semifinals.
    Vying for third against third-seeded Oshkosh, Nebraska, Holyoke fell 1-3 in the consolation game, finishing fourth overall.
