Sporting events rescheduled

Bad weather last Thursday, March 29, called for several of Holyoke’s sporting events to be rescheduled.
In Holyoke High School baseball, a home varsity game against Burlington has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 5, at 11 a.m. Next up on the HHS baseball schedule is a home doubleheader with Sedgwick County on Saturday, April 7, at 11 a.m.
A girls golf tournament also scheduled for March 29 in Holyoke was canceled. Instead, Holyoke will host the Monday, May 14, league tournament that was previously going to be hosted by Brush.
Next on the girls golf schedule is a nonleague, varsity-only tournament at Boomerang Golf Links in Greeley on Friday, April 6, at 9 a.m. The team will also travel to Burlington for a Tuesday, April 10, tournament at 10 a.m.
The HHS track and field team will potentially reschedule the Holyoke Invite to a date later this month. Following the original calendar, Holyoke will host the Dragon Invitational Saturday, April 7, at 9 a.m. Next week, the tracksters travel to Yuma for the Bill Kalb Invite Monday, April 9, at noon.
