Swimmers compete over spring break

    HHS swimmers Keegan Shaw and Tristen Ferguson competed with the Valley High School swim team over spring break last week.
    Shaw swam in both the March 20 event at the Greeley Rec Center against Estes Park and Greeley West, as well as the March 21 Estes Park tri with Estes Park and Longmont. Ferguson also competed in the Greeley tri.
    While official results from the meets were unavailable at press time, coach Aly Brinkema praised the efforts of the two HHS swimmers.
    At Greeley, Shaw swam a fast 50-yard backstroke for the opening leg of the medley relay and as the anchor 100-yard free in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
