Thompson, Nosewicz win best ball tourney

    Jeremy Thompson and Nick Nosewicz carded a 135 to win the May 25-26 Art Vollmer Memorial Day Best Ball Golf Tournament in Holyoke.
   They finished 16 strokes under the second-place team of Jeff Deselms and Mike Foor, who shot a 151.
   Third place in the championship flight ended in a tie at 154 between Jeff Yahn and Tim Henry, and Randy Styskal and David Engel.
