Turn ’n Burn for the Cure is Aug. 8-9 in Yuma

Yuma County Fairgrounds will be the place to be Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 8-9, for a benefit barrel race for Angels for Life in the Plains and Hospice of the Plains.

An open 4D race will start at 6 p.m. with exhibitions from 4-5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Most of the action takes place on Sunday. Cowboy church with complimentary donuts will start the day at 8:30 a.m. in the grandstands. Exhibitions will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m., followed by open riding until noon.
