VB hosts B invite

    Teams from Holyoke, Haxtun and Sedgwick County faced off in the Holyoke B team invite Oct. 2. Holyoke beat Sedgwick County in two sets, 25-15 and 25-8. Sedgwick County beat Haxtun 25-11 and 25-11. Haxtun beat Holyoke 26-24 and 25-17.
    Also in junior high volleyball action, the teams faced Chase County in Imperial, Nebraska, Sept. 28. Holyoke’s A team won in three sets, 25-23, 22-25 and 15-10. B team lost in two, 15-25 and 7-25. C team lost in three, 14-25, 25-16 and 12-15.
