Vieselmeyer signs with Concordia

Holyoke senior Kristin Vieselmeyer is trading the Dragons for the Bulldogs after making a commitment to play basketball at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. She signed a letter of intent Thursday, April 28, at Holyoke JR/SR High School. Kristin is pictured in center with parents, Michelle and Erik Vieselmeyer, in front, and Holyoke head girls basketball coach John Baumgartner and Concordia head women’s basketball coach Drew Olson, from left in back. Vieselmeyer was part of a state champion team her senior year and a state final-four team as a sophomore. She’s been named to the all-conference list all four years of her high school career in addition to the all-state second team once and first team twice. Vieselmeyer is one of the top stats leaders in Lady Dragon basketball history in areas like scoring, rebounding and 3-point percentage. — Darci Rodriguez | The Holyoke Enterprise
